Supplies;
White tile smooth tile (Home Depot carries them in different sizes)
Porcelain Paint Markers-In various colors ( Craft Stores)
glue (Elmer’s glue works well)
Stickers of choice (Craft Stores)
Paper doll to dress (Craft Store)
Small seashells & Starfish (Craft Store)
Start by picking a theme for your tile. An example might be a birthday, holiday,
and your house, anything you desire. I chose an Island theme. Fox Island is in
Washington State and I chose a paper doll of my son on the Island. Draw your
designs with your porcelain markers, being careful not to smear your design with
your hands. If you make a mistake quickly wash it off with a little water on a
paper towel & dry. Then paint in your areas with your various colors. Let dry.
Glue on your paper doll, starfish, sand dollars and stickers. Write in your
Island or theme of choice at the top. Let dry thoroughly! I let mine dry in the
sun to bake it in a little. Sign the back of your tile. Add a plate stand of
choice; I got mine at K-mart. You can also use a picture hanger on the back of
your tile to hang directly on the wall. Now you have a
beautiful original Tile created by you and your kidz!
