Shh! I've Got A Secret
(Cindy)
Shh! I've got a secret!
(Rachel)
Well what is it?
(Cindy)
I can't tell you, it's a secret! A
secret is only a secret if you don't tell anyone.
(Rachel)
Well then, how will I ever know what your secret is?
(Cindy)
You won't, that's what makes it such a great secret!
(Rachel)
Well, I've got a secret too!
(Cindy)
What's your secret?
(Rachel)
I can't tell you either or I'll give away my secret.
(Cindy)
You can give me a clue can't you?
(Rachel)
Well, I don't know where it says in the secret laws that I can't, so here
is your first clue…#1 all the words begin with the letter "P".
(Cindy)
How many words are there?
(Rachel)
That would be clue #2.
(Cindy)
Okay, so what is the second clue?
(Rachel)
Clue #2 there are three words.
(Cindy)
That doesn't tell me anything!
(Rachel)
It's not supposed to, it's still a secret remember?
(Cindy)
Oh yea! So what is clue #3?
(Rachel)
Clue #3 there are two different colors that start with the letter
"P".
(Cindy)
Well let's see… Could it be pink and purple?
(Rachel)
I don't know, I can't give away the secret you are just supposed to
guess.
(Cindy)
Okay, I'll guess its' pink and purple.
So what's clue #4?
(Rachel)
How many clues do you want?
(Cindy)
Well enough to guess the secret!
(Rachel)
I'm not sure you get that many clues.
(Cindy)
How many do I get?
(Rachel)
I'm not sure I suppose that's a secret too.
(Cindy)
I'm confused! All I know so far is that the secret is pink and purple and
I'm not even sure if that's right.
(Rachel)
Okay, Okay, that part is right. But
if you guess my secret, you have to tell me yours okay?
(Cindy)
Let's work on one secret at a time.
After all pink and purple means nothing to me so far and I am getting
pretty frustrated.
(Rachel)
The last clue is #5… European bread.
(Cindy)
That's it! I'm tired of this
secret game! I know it can't be
pink and purple bread because you don't even know how to cook!
(Rachel)
Maybe if I whisper the secret to you it will still be a secret.
(Cindy)
I'm all ears!
(Rachel)
Shh! Pink and purple
pumpernickel! Say that five times
fast in a whisper of course.
(Cindy)
That was your secret! I
can't even say it one time much less five times fast!
(Rachel)
I told you my secret so what is yours?
(Cindy)
I can't tell you!
(Rachel)
Why not? I told you mine!
(Cindy)
Yea, but now that I know your secret it's not a secret anymore!
So if I tell you my secret it won't be a secret anymore either.
(Rachel)
This whole secret thing is out of control!
I told you mine and now you are withholding yours.
(Cindy)
Okay! Okay! Here's your
first clue #1… It's very quiet.
(Rachel)
Boy, that's a tough one! I
can't even guess what that might be. Give
me another clue.
(Cindy)
Clue #2… You can't tell anyone.
(Rachel)
If I can't tell anyone how am I supposed to guess what the clue is?
I have to tell you don't I?
(Cindy)
I don't write the clues, I just tell them like it is.
(Rachel)
All right, let's see… Clue #1 is it's very quiet.
Clue #2 is you can't tell anyone. Hmm…you
got me there! I still don't know
what it is!
(Cindy)
Exactly, it's a SECRET!
