In The Bath With Bubbly The Bee

While walking through the meadows one early spring day, I came across a large and furry insect efficiently gathering pollen and nectar.  He was much to busy to notice me and for the most part pretty peaceful, unless you disturb their nests of course.  The queen bees are usually around fragrant flowers and they are the only ones to survive the cold winters.  The queen bees are larger than the worker bees, but the one I came across was definitely a worker bee.

You can find these insects in woodlands, fields, gardens, bogs and where I'm standing right now, the meadows.  I decided to get a closer look at this worker bee being careful not to get stung.  To my surprise as I bent over closer to him he looked into my eyes and said; "Can I help you?"  "Wow!" I said.  "You can talk!"  "Yes of course I do!"  Said this colorful worker bee.  "My name is Bubbly The Bee, what is yours?"  Well before I could muster up enough words to answer him, he asked me what I was doing with that old fly swatter.  I quickly told him I was just carrying it to keep unwanted bugs away from me.

Bubbly gasped and said; "I have a better idea for that old fly swatter."  He asked me if I had a bathtub.  I assured him I had just taken a bath and really was quite clean.  He said; "Not for you, I just want to take a refreshing bath myself!"  I hurried home, filled up the tub and Bubbly slowly added the bubble bath.  "Now," he said; "Give me your fly swatter and watch closely."  Bubbly dipped it in the bath water and flung it in the air and out came the biggest bubbles, right out of my old fly swatter.  There were bubbles everywhere!  I watched in amazement at all the bubbles emanating from the little worker bee.  Now I knew how he got the name "Bubbly The Bee."   Bubbly being quite shy, finished his bath, dried off with the towel, brushed his tiny teeth and scurried off to bed.  All my friends gathered around my house when they had heard about this fun idea.  "What a sight to see!" One neighbor said as he glanced up in the sky at the bubbles.  "Where did you learn to do that?"  "Well," I said.  "If I told you, you probably wouldn't believe me, so lets just say my good friend Bubbly taught me."

By now word had spread and everyone wanted to take a bath before bed in order to blow bubbles.  I was pretty tired at this point and climbed into bed myself.  To my surprise, there was Bubbly sound asleep under the sheets.  I covered him up with a blanket and fluffed up his pillow and laid quietly down on the couch.  I had an interesting dream that night.  The very next day I went out and bought hundreds of brand new fly swatters and put Bubbly's name on all of them.  I then mixed up some special blueberry bath bubbles and handed them out to all the neighbors.  Before I knew it, the sky was filled with bright blue bubbles!  Bubbly went back to work in the meadows and smiled as he looked up into the blue sky.  He had finished what he set out to do, and millions of kids everywhere thanked him for his fun idea!
