Where Are You?
When the rain is
falling down,
and tears fall from my eyes.
Where are you? Where are you now?
If I had to do it all again,
I wouldn’t have waited so long,
to love you like a friend.
But all is not lost and gone,
as my heart hears you slowly say,
I am yours forever and a day.
I can’t cry anymore,
I’m all choked up inside.
Tears run like the river,
and the oceans endless tide.
Where are you? Where
are you now?
The rain won’t go away,
loneliness is here to stay.
Thunder roars it’s ugly face,
in this sad and lonely place.
I watch the lightening show,
as our lives move on.
Tears falling like the rain,
Fill my face with emptiness and pain.
Where are you? Where are you now?
I hear you call my name,
when sadness comes your way.
The rain is falling down,
in patterns on the ground.
It fills the rivers and the streams,
with songs full of empty dreams.
The pitter-patter sound it makes,
as it fills the rivers and the lakes.
Has forever come and gone?
Why am I still hanging on?
The clouds move across the skies,
tears fill my longing eyes.
Hold my hand and feel my heart,
Take these tears away!
Let’s not look back at all the pain,
has forever come and gone?
Why do I keep hanging on?
The sun is melting
as it slowly turns to rain.
It falls with such intensity,
as it slowly starts to drain.
Tears fill my eyes again.
I’m drowning in the flood,
sinking to the bottom.
Where are you? Where are you now?
Floating slowly to the top,
floating till the end of time.
When the wind sweeps me off my feet,
I know you’ll catch me when I fall.
It blows me upside down,
but when you’re near I’m not afraid.
Rain falls hard in this place;
it leaves endless tears upon my face.
