One Love
Where is your gentle face?
Where are your loving eyes?
Will you tuck me in at night,
and kiss me in the daylight?
Will you hug me when I frown,
and lift me up when I start to drown?
Will you kiss the tears away,
and run your fingers through my hair?
Will you smile my direction,
and hold me in your arms at night?
Will you stay by my side,
and chase the blues away?
Will we catch the shooting stars,
and follow the moonbeams light?
Float on the Milky Way,
and glide through the skies at night?
Will we touch the Universe,
and do it with one kiss?
Will your strong spirit guide me,
as I walk beside you in my mind?
As our worlds collide together,
will you forever be looking over my shoulder?
Will you brush my hair from my eyes,
and wipe all the tears away?
Will we have love and devotion,
after tears splash in the ocean,
and the pain floats away?
Will we whisper all day,
and talk out loud all night?
Will you walk beside me hand in hand,
arm in arm and side by side?
Will you say kind words when I’m not around,
and echo our love songs across the sound?
Will you kiss me all the time,
and remain close by my side?
Will you tuck me in every night,
and whisper love songs in the daylight?
Will we love one another more each day,
and thank each other as we kneel to pray?
Will we talk as friends, share as lovers,
and not take for granted the love around us?
Will we dream together,
when the nights are long?
Will our spirits find each other,
even when we are all alone?
Will we not be to blind to see,
ONE LOVE is all we need!
