From Princess To A Queen
(Aboard The Emerald Queen Riverboat)

When you stand a top a riverboat,
and yell across the seas.
And a little voice inside you says,
wait a little longer please!
As you stand alone in silence,
and watch the forming of the moon.
And a little voice inside you says,
should you turn and go?
As your knight in shining Armour,
rides closer in the night.
And his face appears before you now,
and you hold each other tight.
A little voice calls out to you,
not to run and hide.
And you pull yourself above it all,
and banish all your pride.
Why all the tears I ask of you?
Why all the lonely nights?
Silence is the answer,
as you hold my heart tonight.
A prayer I will say for you,
as I slowly drift to sleep.
A key you will always have,
and my heart is yours to keep.
Treat her right she'll be around,
treat her wrong and she'll be gone.
The words echo in the night.
Keep her near and hold her tight,
"Sweet dreams" my love tonight!
