What I Can Do To Make America Better

I made a resolution to heal America with a solution.
I mapped out the strategy, and suddenly
It appeared to me in the most astounding way.
"America the Beautiful" like a diamond in the sun,
To glitter with stars and stripes so bright.
Shining like a jewel, the world need only look
To see the treasure in her soul.
We wear our stripes and color our stars, 
and believe in who we are.
Representing all the glory and freedom 
we so proudly display.
Greed and hatred try to separate us,
But we move closer to that mirror that reflects our love.
We'll work it out together as 
a nation of committed Americans.
And as our flag fly's proudly in the sky,
It represents the freedom and true foundation of 
"the American Way."
Truly a diamond in the sun!
