You speak to me in riddles, 
I speak to you in rhymes.
Mystery surrounds our innocence.
Dreaming of you the memories come crashing in 
like the waves against the shore.
The water runs from my eyes, 
tears flow like an ocean.
You wipe away my tears as I close my eyes.
While you hold my tearful face, 
promise me you'll never go.
We don't point fingers, there's no one here to blame.
Only foolish pride gets in the way.
There's so much I have to say, 
as you turn to walk away.
As I ask of you one thing. "Will you die for me?" 
I offer the same .
That's what true love is. 
That's the key to Heaven, it opens all the doors.
I cling on with every breath. 
A calm surrounds me as I whisper softly "I love you!"
Don't ask me to quietly walk away.
Tangled up in your arms is where I want to be, 
through all Eternity.
